Jim Delaney and Danny Boskovski of Somerford Weimaraners and Laine Knox of Ashlaren Weimaraners have created the SOMERLAREN Weimaraner prefix. With over 65 years of combined breeding experience producing Weimaraners that have helped shape the breed they now proudly present their first Multi Group and In Show Winner: Ch SOMERLAREN IMA LEGEND (under the Somerlaren prefix).

As of 19/3/2010 Ch Somerlaren Ima Legend is the No 1 Weimaraner in Australia on the Dogzonline Competition for the Weimaraner breed and he is currently No 2 in Australia in the All Breeds Leaderboard for the Dogzonline National Competition. That aside Legend is a delight to own. He is the most affectionate, happy, playful, mischievous (in a nice way) dog we have ever bred. He also has a genuine desire to learn and help you with any task and he is very intelligent. He is the happiest dog that we have ever had and I hope that when the time really comes to sow his wild oats that he passes these traits onto his progeny. Legend was born in September 2007 In 2010 Shannon Barden joined our team and he will be presenting Legend for most of 2010. Shannon has already developed a special relationship with Legend and it is always a pleasure to see them working so closely together as a team in the show ring.
