'Oska' - Aust Ch.  'Somerford Reevas Oska' was born to be a Star. 

'Oska' definately has a celebrity personality and has Charisma PLUS ++++. 

His father, 'Benson' -  Aust Grand Champion Kadma Almost an Angel is the son our wonderful 'Taliya' -  Aust Grand Champion Somerford Charlies Angel. 

'Oska' was sucessfully handled in the show ring by Megan Rochester and attained his title of Australia Champion by the time he was 14 months old. 

During his show career he won many awards including:

'Oska' has also won many Best of Breeds and CC certificates and RUBOB awards.

Oska now lives with the Adams family on the Central Coast of NSW. 

He is particularly loved and cared for by Katrina Adams who submits regular updates and photo's of 'Oska'

Oska was always a delight to own and is a very affectionate loving dog, he likes to play hard and  also be the centre of attention.

We intent to breed with 'Oska' in 2008 so keep watching for his puppies.

'Oska' has one of the most photgenic profiles I have ever had in a Weimaraner and he loves posing for celebrity shots as you will see from some of the submissions from Katrina.

Hi Jim and Danny,

congratulations on all your new arrivals. I had a little look at your web site and it looks as though you are going to be very busy for the next few months. Oska is being spoilt as usual. He loves to test the waters and see how far he can push his luck, causing himself to get into a bit of trouble... He brings us so much happiness and so many laughs. I took these photos of him the other week, he looks like he is smoking a cigar...he wasn't quite sure what he was supposed to do with it so he just lay down on his hammock and held it in his mouth. A couple of weekends ago my best friend Tara slept over with one of her terriors called Bridget. Tara has made matching t-shirts for Oska and Bridget... they look so funny. Oska loves playing with other dogs and it's lots of fun watching them romp about. Have fun with all your babies

Hi Jim and Danny,

It's been a year since you let Oska come and retire to our home and we thought you'd like some recent photos of him to see what he's up to.

As you can see his favourite task around the house is to "help" with the BBQ! He never lets Dad BBQ without his assistance and his only contribution to the task is to drool constantly in the hope of a handout!

Now that the weather is getting colder he likes to spend his busy morning having a nap on his comfy bed in the sun.

Once a week Mum and Oska go to the park to play with his friend "Alli". She is a 15 mth old pup that they're become friends with and the two dogs love to romp and go crazy at the park.They run each other silly for about 45mins and then come home and collapse.Both of them get really excited when they see each other and love to "hunt" for rabbits. We love the expression on Oska's face when Alli tried to kiss him!!

We've loved having Oska as part of our family this year and we have learnt so much about him and caring for him. Cutting his nails is still a DRAMA and he's such a SOOK!! We're thinking of entering him for next years academy awards!! He had some fleas during summer that proved difficult to get rid of and we tried all sorts of remedies to not much success.

Oska loves joining in the wrestles that Dad and Stuart have.He gets really excited and tries to push his way in to the game or stands on the edges barking at them. We love the way he tries to "talk" to us and the different sounds that he makes. He really thinks he's communicating and some of the expressions he pulls are hysterical! He enjoys a game of chasing and he especially loves to chase Stuart up and down our lane on the bike.

We had a reminder note from the vet about renewing Oska's immunisation and wanted your opinion on it. We originally had him vaccinated because he was going to obedience classes and thet wouldn't let him in until he'd had it. We don't know what to do now? Should we get him done again because he mixes with other dogs all the time? Is there a risk of him catching anything from other dogs? What about an annual checkup? Is it worthwhile having this to keep an eye on anything in his general health that might be going on? Please let us know what you think when you have time.

We hope everything is going well with your dogs. We hope to catch up with you at some stage and show you just how spoilt Oska is!!!
